Event highlights
Join us as we view HBO’s “A Mother’s Desperation” and discuss issues that women face such as barriers seeking intervention, treatment and recovery services. We will have a panel that will consist of women in long term recovery, a mother who has a daugher still struggling with active addiction and Dr. Oscar Buckstien, a clinical physiatrist from WPIC; the panel will share their experiences and answer questions from the audience. Robin Horston Spencer, director of Message Carriers, will be the moderator. Please be advised that this event will be taped!
