HBO has launched a multi-media campaign aimed at helping Americans understand addiction as a treatable brain disease. As part of that ongoing campaign, Michael Dukakis – former Governor of Massachusetts and Chairman of a national panel on the issue of substance abuse – will be at the Capitol on Thursday, May 17th, to speak to press, legislators and staff concerning possible solutions to the problems and the ravages of addiction.
